Disappointment from the US Olympic Men's basketball team

Iverson criticizes the Olympic no-shows: "You're honored to get a chance to represent your country, and what's better than that?"

He's got a point. It's pretty pathetic the number of players who'd pass up an opportunity to represent their country in the world arena. Even dismissing the disappointing bronze finish, this team would still be marred by the absence of our best players.

Duncun done with US hoops: Tim Duncan gives up on playing in the international arena, citing rule disparities and cheap fouls. He too mentions that lack of many marquee players.
